My trip to the hospital

A few weeks ago I had an asthma attack. I wasn't able to breath right for about a week before my mom called an ambulance for me. I woke up one tuesday morning and it was extremely hard to breath. Worse than any of the other days the past week, I got up to use the bathroom and that's what made it worse just moving around. My breathing treatments weren't helping at this point. I told my mom to call 911 and the ambulance arrived pretty damn quick. This was my first time in an ambulance as well so I was feeling anxious about everything. I was scared of being intubated. I was also scared of going to the hospital because of the Coronavirus. Once I got there they gave me oxygen, more breathing treatments and some steroids. Now it wasnt bad enough all this was happening but than I get a message from my mom saying she had to call another ambulance for my dad that same day. I had already been at the hospital a few hours when she told me my dad was having seizures. I still didnt have a room when I found this out and was in the hallway on a bed in front of the ambulance entrance doors, so I was able to see my dad when they brought him in. They took me up to my room shortly after that and I was admitted. We later found out my dad has cancer. I was no longer worried about myself. Unfortunately because of the virus I was unable to see him even being a fellow patient. I recieved the treatment I needed and stayed in contact with my dad and other family through phone calls. I left the hospital four days later. My dad is still there now but currently in rehab to strengthen his legs. He should be home in about a week as well. My asthma attack came on due to allergies, I moved in with my parents and they have an adorable dog that I'm very allergic to. I couldn't believe I was in the hospital for four days because of allergies basically. At least the food wasnt to bad. Now we're just focusing on my dad and I'm playing with the dog less, which is very hard haha

  2. I'm not a fan of hospitals but sometimes you just have to go. It's too bad that you are allergic to dogs, we had many through the years. Falcor is a cute little guy, it's nice that you take him for walks.

  3. That must have been scary and stressful, from having trouble breathing to seeing your dad brought in. I'm so glad you are better now and your mom said your dad came home.

Apartment complex

The apartments I live in with my parents used to be pretty nice. Used to have nice people in the neighborhood but that was 15+ years ago. No...
